What Is A Great Business Idea?
It can be defined as a business concept...
- That is centered around work you really enjoy doing...and are good at doing.
- That offers a genuine solution to someone's problem or a satisfaction
of someone's want.
- That involves doing work for which you can define the "3 keys to success"... and are very capable
at doing them.
EG. Being a speaker and coach demands at least three "keys to success" - (1) Being comfortable
speaking in front of all kinds of crowds;
(2) Showing up on time and well prepared for
presentations; (3) Being good at quick and accurate research on new topics and able to turn
information into an interesting presentation.
- For which you know the approximate start-up costs and are prepared to invest
sufficient money to start and run the business.
- That upon research seems to offer an attractive financial return.
- That you can start and run by yourself or with one very carefully selected
partner.
- That is the style of work where you will enjoy the type of customer you're likely to attact.
